The mission of the Centre for Skill Enhancement

The Centre for Skill Enhancement is driven by the mission to empower women students, enabling them to become self-reliant leaders in their fields. Our vision is to offer cutting-edge skill development programs aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, enhancing industry exposure and providing students with the critical employability skills that today’s competitive market demands. We are committed to cultivating an environment of excellence that transcends traditional academic boundaries, fostering well-rounded individuals poised for success.

By fostering entrepreneurship and professional development, we promote financial independence, especially for women, and support government initiatives like Beti Padhao Beti Bachao, Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme, and Stree Shakti Yojana.

Our goal is to establish a pioneering skilling framework within our women’s college that enhances industry integration and accelerates employability through world-class skill development. We strive to equip women students with the expertise, confidence, and resilience they need to excel in their chosen careers. In line with the Skill India Mission and the “Viksit Bharat” initiative, we are committed to fostering equal opportunities, driving self-sufficiency, and empowering women to break barriers and achieve financial independence in a fast-evolving professional world.

Goals of the Centre for Skill Enhancement

Short-Term Goals:

At the Centre for Skill Enhancement, we are committed to creating an electrifying learning environment that drives holistic student development and prepares them to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

• 1. Conduct Workshops and Training: Organize hands-on workshops and training sessions for students, focusing on practical skills and industry exposure.
• 2. Launch Skill Enhancement Courses: Initiate 3-4 comprehensive programs, combining classroom and industry exposure, to train students as per industry expectations.
• 3. Expand Skill Development Opportunities: Introduce diverse skill-related courses (full-time and part-time) to offer students varied developmental options.
• 4. Analyze Student Preferences: Assess student needs and preferences through feedback mechanisms to tailor skill enhancement initiatives aligning with their career aspirations and industry requirements.
• 5. CV Enhancement Courses: Offer specialized courses to enhance students' CVs, making them more competitive in the job market.

These short-term goals will help our centre establish a strong foundation for skill enhancement, ultimately empowering students to become self-reliant and industry-ready.

Medium-Term Goals:

To ensure our students are well-prepared for the workforce, we will identify critical skill areas, develop effective training models, attract partners, and support initiatives that scale our impact. Our focus will be on:

• Creating affordable, high-quality, and innovative training programs.
• Bridging the gap between Academia and Industry alignments.
• Securing significant private funding for skill development initiatives.
• Enhancing the overall impact of our programs.
• Building a robust financial foundation.
• Fostering awareness about govt. scheme through the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Khadi and Village Industries Board to promote and develop entrepreneurship skills
• Encouraging financial literacy awareness programs for our students

Long-Term Goals:

• 1. Holistic Skill Development: Offer programs that integrate technical skills with essential soft skills like leadership and communication with an understanding of the importance of skill training.
