About Us

Countries across the globe have become more connected than ever before in the twenty-first century. This has provided an impetus to educational institutions to connect and create newer higher education paradigms. The primary purpose of the Centre for International Programmes is to introduce students and teachers to the world’s top educational institutions and research centres. The objective is to facilitate cross-cultural interaction and related learning opportunities into the classrooms and thereby support the global ecosystem of knowledge and research.

Vision: To facilitate international collaborations and exchange programmes in the teaching learning process, to promote knowledge sharing and free exchange of ideas, to enable inter-cultural dialogue among students and faculties from International universities.

Mission: To promote academic and cross-cultural dialogue by organising student and faculty exchange programmes, international conferences, seminars, talks and workshops on global issues.

Objectives:

  • Contribute positively to the global knowledge and research pool.
  • Foster free exchange of ideas, knowledge and enhance cross-cultural understanding amongst all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate finer understanding and awareness about global challenges in order to find sustainable solutions
  • Promote ‘think globally, act locally’ mindset.
  • Share best practices to learn from each other.

Short Term Goals:

  • To create a students’ team that will participate and manage various activities of the centre.
  • To start a discussion forum on various contemporary global issues that will meet on a regular basis.
  • To conduct an Add-on course

Long Term Goals:

  • To invite distinguished speakers from around the globe to reflect on various global issues.
  • To organise International student and faculty exchange programmes.
  • To conduct International Conferences on issues of global importance
  • To collaborate with various national and international institutions working in the arena of International programmes
