JDMC NCC is taking an initiative in preserving biodiversity and protecting Mother Nature through various sensitization programmes and awareness campaigns/drives.
With this thought to motivate people around us, JDMC NCC cadets successfully completed the #SAYNOTOPLASTIC campaign held in the year 2020-2021. Approximately 60 cadets participated in the campaign and showcased their creativity along with promoting the message to curb the use of plastic in our daily lives.
They portrayed various examples of how we can cut down the use of plastic by highlighting handmade products such as paper bags, cloth bags, reusable plastic containers and so on.
With full participation of cadets JDMC NCC successfully completed this campaign.
With this thought to motivate or spread awareness around us , JDMC NCC cadets successfully completed the initiative # LET NEW LIFE BLOOM by sowing a plant and protecting it. Cadets participated in this activity and depicted their compassion for the environment through awareness and motivating quotes. They sowed a plant, wrote beautiful messages and took pictures to promote protection of a life form which shares mother earth with us- Trees. Their enthusiasm signified the importance of protecting trees in a surroundings full of pollution and undesirable anthropological activities. Human beings owe to the nature. Maintaining ecological balance is our duty.

- It’s imperative that we conserve trees so that our lives aren’t adversely affected.
With this thought to motivate, persuade and spread awareness around us about - How important trees are for a human life, JDMC NCC cadets successfully completed the initiative *#PLANT A TREE, BE DISEASE FREE* by planting trees in their houses and surroundings which was held in the year 2020-21.
Approximately 70 Cadets participated in the TREE PLANTATION drive and depicted their love for the environment by sowing each plant.
